Concessions fares for Transport Canberra
ACT Seniors Card cardholders can access free off-peak travel on Transport Canberra bus and light rail services. Off-peak periods are between 9am and 4.30pm and after 6pm weekdays, plus all day Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays.
Older Canberrans over the age of 70 are able to travel for free on Transport Canberra services at all times.
Pet registration concession
Dog and cat owners in the ACT may be eligible to receive a Seniors Card concession on the registration of their animal (note: pet registration is compulsory in the ACT)
Vehicle registration concession
ACT Seniors Card cardholders may be eligible to receive a 10% discount on vehicle registration, and a 28% discount on registration for gas or electric vehicles.
